I totally agree Kira! I chose the same thesis and it is hard to fit ideas into a thesis that is not your own. However, that is the assignment and we can do it! There is alot of evidence and it is hard to sort through. What I have been doing is making a list. I have gone through and read the short story and I literally pull out sentences. If it sounds like charity I pull it out. If it sounds like they are the same people pull it out. I was reading someones blog and It helped me realize what I was trying to put into words. The narrator trusted Bartleby without even knowing anything about him. I think this is probably the most significant evidence, because he was a pretty shallow and greedy guy. He wanted the easy way out and good money. So why would he trust Bartleby? Just some thoughts. I need help too, so feel free to look at my draft. I think it has been so helpful, reading and watching what others are doing.
